Embedding a survey in a web page

We’ve added a new feature to give you more flexibility on how you can add feedback surveys to your website.

You can now embed a survey directly within a webpage (any page, with support for Wordpress) by adding one simple line to your webpage.

This gives you three ways to add a survey to your website:
  1. Add a pop-up survey (high response rates, great to help you collect feedback to test a new feature or option)
  2. Add a tab survey (lower response rates, but this is an unobtrusive way to ask for feedback across your website)
  3. New: Embed a survey (insert a survey within the design of a web page and can be styled with your text and design)
The new embed feature means the survey is always visible to any visitor to the web page, and is a great option if you want direct website users to a dedicated page to complete a survey.

You can style the embedded survey with the text, colours and attributes you want to ensure it fits in with your web design.

To embed a survey on your webpage, look to the How to Install section of Web Survey settings. At the bottom of the page is your unique code that you can copy and paste into a web page.

And like all our surveys, you can insert additional meta data about the person completing the survey – for example, their user name, product selection, segment, account manager, and more.

Here's an example of an embedded survey styled to remove the border.
